 bio

I remember as a kid, always performing.  Whether it be in a dance recital, a 'pageant' for my grandparents, or driving my parents crazy singing jingles in the back of our station wagon.  I just liked singing, dancing, and acting and people usually liked for me to do it, so it worked out pretty well!

Once I was old enough, I joined a  Jr. high/high school Musical Theater group called MIPC Players.  I began taking voice lessons, and performing in shows.  It was like magic.  A place where I truly belonged.  As I moved into high school, I joined the choir and show choir, and was lucky enough to have a director who saw potential, and took it upon himself to teach me everything he could.  He encouraged me to seek a degree in music, and due to his tutelage, I was able to skip Freshman Theory.  I received my Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from UCF in four years.

After Graduating, I began performing with the Orlando Opera Company's Camerata, and was with them for two years while continuing my training as well as auditioning and going to various competitions.  Somewhere in the midst of years of classical training and coaching, I came to a point where I realized I was no longer enjoying myself, and knew that I had to stop going in the direction I was headed.  So I did.

I stopped singing all together for about a year, but that wasn't making me any happier.  So I decided to start singing and performing for myself in the ways that I wanted to.  Shortly thereafter, I had a wonderful opportunity to record the score for a short film called "Quest for a Sock".  I was in my element, and knew immediately that I needed to pursue more opportunities like that!

Since then I have reconnected with my Musical Theater roots, and have had other voice-over opportunities.  Mostly, I am enjoying myself and hope to work towards singing, performing, and doing voice-overs more and more.
